It is a great honor and responsibility for a documentary filmmaker to be allowed into the world of their subjects, and to be trusted to tell their story with integrity. Starting in 2014, Believe Media Founders, Luke Thornton and Liz Silver traveled to the Pine Ridge Reservation on the South Dakota badlands with German Directing duo, Shooting Monkeys and Lucy Martens to begin this journey.
