Hughes has done it again following up his hugely popular documentary ‘The Defiant Ones.’ Time says Hughes’ 5-part Documentary Series is a ‘compelling’ look at ‘Tupac Shakur’s biography and that of his fraught relationship with his equally complicated mother, Black Panther Party leader Afeni Shakur.’ We want to congratulate Allen for yet another amazing analysis of rap culture.
