Floria Sigismondi, Director:
“Believing is the fundamental seed at the start of all creation. You have to believe in a vision before you can bring it to life. And to me, that is what BELIEVE cultivates — the space and confidence to find that faith within yourself and turn it into something special.”

Born to Italian opera singer parents, Floria Sigismondi has led an existence forged equally in the theatre, where stories are retold, and in the avant-garde, where futures are envisioned. Her immense influence is felt the world over, in the arenas of music video, photography, film and advertising–in each field she has brought her signature spin and never left a project without leaving a lasting impression in her wake. Floria has re-imagined such brands as Meta, Mac, Estée Lauder, and Target, much as her iconic music videos helped invent and reinvent the personas of artists from David Bowie to Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry to Marilyn Manson.
This year, Floria won a Silver Clio for directing the Meta brand film A (Slightly) Life Changing Story, for Droga5/NY, and most recently, she has lensed Anne Hathaway for Bvlgari. |

“Being represented by BELIEVE is not just a big honor to me, but also a dream come true. I started my career as a filmmaker 12 years ago, traveling around Brazil carrying a camera in a backpack and a tripod under my arms. Every time I enter Believe’s website and I see my name and my work over there, right next to so many directors that I admire and that inspire me since I began directing, I feel super proud of being part of this talented team and thankful for the opportunity of being able to bring my vision as a director to the US and UK markets. Believe is an important symbol to me of the recognition of my work and my growth as a director.”
